What will you do if you had more free time?
I will have F-R-E-E-D-O-M (BPI expect more freedom) Stop-Motion Animation
On the 22nd of June, I started preparing the things which I'll be using
for making my video. That video will be my entry on BPI expect more
freedom contest.I ready my white board, my black marker, cloth and digicam. I had
decided to make a stop motion animation as the concept of my video.
I
had been working day and night, and I even slept late just to finish
the video. I was thinking "I should finish this soon, I don't want to
upload this even later than I should."
June 23rd, I woke up a little early than usual, even I had slept 6:00 in the morning... around 2pm I ate my breakfast, or should I say lunch (I say this is early than usual since I wake up at around 5p.m. whenever I sleep late like that)
After
finishing the meal, I didn't rest, instead I went over to my working
place and continue with my animation. I've been sitting for hours,
taking picture at every movement or changes I made with the drawing. I
can feel my arms slowly being tired. But I have to continue no matter
what... Later that day, I had finished my drawings. I guess I deserved
some good night sleep for a long day of work. The next day, I had
thought of some new drawings to add, and once again I hold my marker
and focused staring straight at the white board in front of me. Then I
started to draw again. Draw, take picture, draw, take picture, erase,
take picture, the same routine goes on... Then it's night time again,
man, time does fly by really fast.
I had asked my mother to take a
picture of me staring outside the window for my opening in the video. I
took the pictures non-drawing related for the video's use that night
too.
And now, finally, I have all the pictures I need,. I couldn't count them all, but I know that they are 500 plus pictures.
All I need now is to edit and put the pictures together to make my video.
Once
again, I was sitting in front of the laptop, editing the video, trying
to make it appear what I wanted it to appear. It's morning again,
4:00a.m if I could remember it right, June 25th in Philippines' time, I
finished my video. I started uploading it on my youtube account and
submitted it as a video response on Here We Go video by
expectmorefreedom (from BPI).
I didn't sleep yet after uploading, I tried to see who among my friends are still online that time so they could start seeing my video. Views are needed to be able to win since they cover 70% of the total overall score. The higher the views, the higher chance you could win the 1st prize.
I slept around 9:00a.m. I was busy advertising my video to people online and since its already morning, more and more people are being online, and that is my only chance to tell them. Although at that moment, I was really groggy, sleepy and tired.
I was glad to hear the feedback of the people who had watched my video,. The viewing of entries is only until July 27, 2009.The views of the video are equivalent to votes, I need all the support I can get. Share this to your friends as well.. thanks very much! ^_^
